I just read the longest post that I have had the patience to read in the last few months. It's about a woman who has decided not to battle breast cancer. Her name is Sylvie Fortin. I had blogged about her efforts to get the awareness out about breast cancer on my other blog. I added her to my RSS and have been blogging pro bono about her ever since, because I was touched by her truth...her struggle..her life. She is a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. I don't have tears in my eyes for the reason you may think, but read about her journey through breast cancer and you will understand why I have tears in my eyes.

Have you ever noticed the brightness of the world as it awaits the rains? You can see the grass grow greener, the foliage picks up a brighter hue right before the raindrops fall...as if the earth is begging for the rain. When the essence of life begins to pour down upon each leaf and blade, you can almost hear the earth sigh with relief and see the landscape smile as it becomes more and more vivid. The birds even seem to hold their breath until the rain begins and then they let it all out full force as they frolic in the dew.
