We are releasing a single before the album debuts ... we are pushing the album back to October and getting the single out by the 31st of August. The single is called First Steps. We are working on the finished product right now. It will consist of 3 tracks: 2 songs (Never Again and DIlme) and an extra somethin' somethin'. I am so excited. I am planning the online release party right now and then we will have a huge thing going for October's album release. Fun stuff :D So excited!

but a good tired. So much has happened over the past week with God and our ministry. We are in awe of all the things that are going on. Soon we will be on a radio show, new mixtapes, cds, and more. Everything is just coming together. There is even a chance that we will meet Donnie McClurkin ! Too much, just too much!

The husband and I have music that has yet to be correctly recorded and distributed. I am getting all our ducks in a row to be able to do that properly. It's not an easy task, really, to get it all together and legally do what you must with your music. It's like balancing on a beam HIGH above the ground with little hope of actually hitting that safety net. I just signed up for a service that will globally launch our single once it's out and ready to be heard on what is considered "vinyl" now. Amazing the leaps and bounds our ministry has taken.

Tonight we are supposed to be going to a KJ52 Concert in Bridgeton, NJ. Apparently, neither my husband nor myself are really that interested in going. The funny thing is that I thought he wanted to go and he thought I wanted to go. Last night we had a brief discussion about it and found out that neither of us is into it. We only really like like 5 of his songs and a whole concert might be too much. To give you a taste of who I am talking about, take a listen:

He is a very talented artist. Admission is 10 a person at the door. If anyone else is interested in going tonight, the concert is at Bridgeton Assembly of God @ 7pm.

There are way more than that, but there you have a few of my top picks for 2007. I had a pretty romantic year with my husband, so you can see that is in there, too. :D

Do you tend to like music in particular genres, or are your tastes all over the place?  What are your most and least favorite musical genres?

My all time favorite genre is Alternative Rock. That is the one that I have loved since I was a teenager. My least favorite genre can vary, because there is SO much crappy music out there, it's hard to decide!
