I have been offline for 3 days because my Ethernet card got fried in the last thunderstorm we had. I have now returned, but I still have no phone access. *joyful* I am contemplating calling in on the 3 yr service contract, but they will probably want me to send them the entire computer instead of sending me a card to install. I might just get the card since it's only like 7 dollars and install it myself so I dont have to lose time on the net. *sigh* If my life wasn't tied to the interweb it might not be such a big deal, but everything down to my communication with the outside world depends on me being able to get online.
Here is another way for you to do what you do normally every day on the Internet and get a little money for it. Agloco allows you to download a little toolbar that will allow you to get paid while you surf the net. You can increase your earnings by inviting others to use you as their referrer and doing the same as you: searching like normal and getting paid for it. You don't get any spyware with the download, either. So go give it a try. It's free. Let me know how you make out. I am going to start with it as soon as I get my new computer set up next week.

It's a flipping shame when you have to resort to finding another way to protect your child because Myspace is such a haven for crackpots and child molesters. There are a lot of sites coming up around the Net now specifically for the parents to get together and protect their children. It's something every mother with a child old enough to log and know about these social networks must think about. Recently I was told about a newer site that is making it easier for parents to ensure Myspace Safety for their children. I think it's high time we all gave these weirdos on the net a run for their money, not just at Myspace, but everywhere across the Internet. It's not right that I can't even feel safe for myself or my children just because we have Internet access on our computer!

Last night my son thought it would be fun to lick my tv back and forth. EW.
The rugs from his last Noah's ark adventure in my bathroom have almost completely dried.
Freaking Yahoo is telling me they recommend that I upgrade to IE7. Pretty funny since I use FF. Take a look.
And I took a few pictures of my finally changing landscape. When they did the Vox Hunt for fall leaves, everything was still ridiculously green here. The leaves only just began to change:
I tried to get myself some lunch, but of course I dumped the entire bowl of rice in the worst place possible so now I have to wait till it all dries out and vaccum it up later. It also means I have to wait another 20 minutes to eat cuz that's how long it takes for a cup and a half of rice to cook. UGH! I'm sooo hungry...and I am trying NOT to eat that entire cake in one day.
Oh and my mom is so adorable! She just upgraded from dial-up to comcast cable internet and is all over YouTube, Myspace, the Tyler Perry website, and all kinds of stuff. I am so happy for her!
Well that's the synopsis for the day. I wish my friggin tech blog server would come back up...It's so annoying! Other than that I am aggravated and I need a break from hearing a small voice asking me for stuff all day long...and then crying and trying my patience. Oh glorious weekend! Come swiftly!!!
