I just found out this morning that my mother in law, who is in Puerto Rico for my grandmom in law, is in the hospital with a re-ruptured spleen or blood clot. I'm like HOLY CRAP! I wish that the doctors would go in and put a cap on this already. I mean, dang. If they had just done her surgery over here like they were supposed to, there wouldn't have been anything to re-aggravate. If they had just done the surgery on my grandmother in law like they were supposed to, maybe my mom in law wouldn't have had to move around so much as to have her body react this way. I am so mad about it. I hope someone gets sued or pays for this, because it is just needless pain for my mother in law, and us.

Yesterday I found out that a good friend of mine passed away in the middle of the night/midmorning. I wrote her a letter then tried to forget about my grief for the rest of the day. Today I am realizing she is really gone... Please take the time to read through the little post I made on my other blog for her.

My mother in law is out of the hospital. She signed herself out after 2 weeks of waiting to see what was going to happen. She got sick of it, so she decided to go home and rest up. There are still issues, but she is being careful and trying not to overexert herself.

My sister showed up to my cousin's 30th birthday party wearing this HUGE diamond wrist holder. I call it that because it was so big. I was a bit shocked (and relieved) to find out that it was only a bit of costume jewelry. Of course, being who she is, I wouldn't be surprised if someone lavished diamonds on her. She is an awesome girl...beautiful, with personality galore. She didn't even mean to wink at the camera. It just LOVES her hehe :D

Hmmm. So I haven't said a heap about what I want for my anniversary or for Christmas. I am always and forever shopping for everyone else. I would love to get a new Hamilton watch for my anniversary. As for Christmas, a gift card to WalMart for crochet supplies would suffice. Of course, if I don't get anything but my family being happy and healthy  through the finish of another year, that would be more than enough.

I understand that my in laws like to take my kid out for the weekend. I totally get that they want to spend time with him. They go out to their vacation home rental, namely the campsite, and have a ball. The problem is that they want him EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND. Umm...okay. When does his father get to spend time with him? When do we get to spend time together as a family? I don't think it's healthy for him to be given away every weekend when he could be spending much needed quality time with his father or us all together. Once a month, okay. My mom still has to see him. That leaves us 2 weekends with our child. What do you think?

I was talking to my mother yesterday and she was talkigna bout where she would like to go to get away. I was surprised to find that she thought a trip to a Vermont bed and breakfast sounded like fun. I would love to be the one to treat her to it. We would have a blast. It already takes us about a half an hour to say goodbye on the phone. HAHA. How I love my mom!

Tonight my family gets to go to my husband's company picnic. It's at Clementon Park, not too far from here. It's been years since I went to that park. Last time I wasn't married, had no child, and was hanging with my parents for the day. Talk about a while. Maybe I should invest in some term life insurance before I go. They have rides there, and I am not as young as I used to be HAHA. I hope to be able to take pictures. We are excited to go.
