I am still doing the Carnival of Injustice. The next issue is going on http://kingzjewel.mindsay.com and it is to be focusing on injustices toward children. I would love if you all participated. Put in your blog posts and articles here.
The Jena 6 issue has drawn the attention of a few stars like Mos Def, rapper and activist...and even David Bowie has sent aid for the fair treatment of these boys.
Chuck Foxtrot presents The Jena 6 posted at WTF CF?.
Marcus Williford presents Support the Jena (Louisiana) 6 posted at My Thoughts, in support for fair treatment of the Jena 6.
Skeet presents Justice is not blind in Jena, Louisiana posted at Skeet's Stuff. In this article we can see that "True justice turns a blind eye to race, prosperity and background, weighing only the merits of each case. It doesn't work that way in Jena, Louisiana."
CyberCelt presents Racism in the 21st Century posted at Endangered Spaces, saying, "Remember ..."
Cheryl presents Jena 6 posted at Basenji Mom. Very opinionated and open. A must read.
Amy presents Racism in the deep South: Jena 6 Travesty at Whatever I Feel Like. This post is aptly filed under "freakin idiot", as it is easy to see how idiotic this case has been handled from day one.
Tim takes a Time Out to talk about the Jena 6 at Bloggerista.
Karen says This Can't Be Happening at ChatBug Karen. It boggles the minds of many that something as atrocious as this is still occurring in our every day world.
And of course Marisa and myself have already posted our views on the Jena 6 issue.
Thankfully, our voices are being heard. Mychal has had his charges lowered a bit so that he is being charged as a juvenile and not an adult. I pray that we see more progress on the 20th march through Jena.
Other Issues at Hand
Ted Reimers presents How to not get tasered at College posted at CampusGrotto.
Marc and Angel presents Abortion: There are Two Sides to Every Story posted at Marc and Angel, saying, "Abortion is one of the touchiest subjects of our time primarily due to widely varying beliefs concerning the exact moment at which “life” actually begins. My best friend once told me, “There are two sides to every story.” Indeed there are, and we see that here.
Jon Swift presents Are We Tasering People Enough? posted at Jon Swift, saying, "The police would never have tasered a liberal disturbing a speech by a conservative. Because conservatives are treated like second-class citizens in our society and women refuse to date them, at least judging by his experience, conservatives are the only people who ever get tasered." Interesting article, worth reading.
That concludes this edition of the Carnival of Injustice. I would like to say that I hope we never have to do this again, but injustice runs rampant all around the world.

carnival of injustice, blog carnival.
In light of the Jena 6 situation, I have decided to start my own carnival of awareness, if you will. It's called the Carnival of Injustice. This week I will be posting here with all the links we have received from the Jena 6 project my friend and I have been doing. If you know of an injustice that you have written about or one that you want to write about, feel free to enter that post in for the next carnival. This one will be posted tomorrow so that we can get more exposure on the Jena 6, as the trial is the 20th. The next carnival will be 2 Fridays from now, then every other Friday after that. I will host it here or one of my other blogs. See here for more details.
