What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
I am thankful that my family is alive and well. I am thankful that even if I can never get to an orlando vacation rental, that I still have the love of my family. I am thankful that I was able to buy us the 360 that I wanted to get. I am thankful that my husband has an opportunity to become whatever it is his heart desires. Thank You Jesus!

Irregardless

Irregardless is NOT A WORD!!!! OMG!! I heard someone use that word as part of their defense on a tv court show. I was like what? WHY are you not using proper English? So many people us that word as if it actually means something. It's like putting manure into stainless steel drums. Sure it looks pretty on the outside, but it's just full of poo. Irregardless is not a word! PLEASE STOP USING IT!

I just posted it on facebook. The chocolate did him in! I had noticed his fondness for chocolate and so left a chocolate wrapper with a little bit of the stuff left inside on the glue trap. He must have croaked while we were in Jersey. We had not heard him since we returned, so I knew he had either left or got caught. Heh... just when you thought the mouse had bested me...

I BESTED HIM!!!!

Life is something else

I have likened our lives right now to being in the eye of a tornado. You just watch everyone flying around in a vortex of craziness while we sit in the middle feeling the effects. I am sitting here with a sickening feeling that sinks down into your core and permeates your soul. I hate that feeling. I hate that so many people are stuck in the whirlwind while being glad that it is not us! Scary scary things are happening.

If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be? What's keeping you from making that change?

Where I live at this moment. I can't change it because there is nothing I can do. Either that other apartment gets finished soon or we just stay here for even longer. The thing is, I have no other options at this point. *sigh*

I have to wonder what life would be like for us if my husband had gotten a job that he applied for in Jersey. I also wonder what it would be like if he had ended up with a philadelphia job, for which he also applied. I may have still been living in Salem. I may have moved to another bigger apartment. Who knows....

Well, I dont get to have Tday dinner this year as I would normally, so the only way it will help is coordinating with other people to see where they will be. :( I like cooking for the big holidays. I get all excited and my expertise comes shining through. It's the only time I really showcase most of my cooking talent in one shot.
