You know the only good thing about stress? It is easy to rack up a load of weight loss. Yes it sure is! I am nearly positive that I have lost at least 10 lbs since being in NY. It is the stress of life and not knowing what's next that has me. I wish I could see past December...heck I wish I could see past next week! It's crazy being here and floating through my life with no real way to plan anything. Right now, I know that I will be in NJ on Dec 19th for a concert. I know that my son has an eye appointment in NJ on Monday. My niece's first birthday is Sunday. My husband is supposed to be back on Friday night. Today is our 8 year anniversary. I am just sitting here wishing that I knew something more about my life than what we have to do right now.
Have you ever had a premonition? Did you heed it?
Submitted by aynge.
i always have them. i always heed them. if they are not about me, i try to warn people. they have never NOT come true if someone did not listen. that's just the way it is! there is one big one that i am waiting to come to pass and it's a scary one. i hope to God that it's not any time soon though.

Thinking ahead to what we have to do after we finally move again. I keep on thinking of it so it will steel my reticence to wait for the payoff. I will have an extra room which could end up being our studio for our albums and such and our guest room. It could also be a reason for me to look into buying discount classroom furniture for our homeschool things. I would like to have a full sized chalk board on the wall and a map. I have a few maps but I like the school-ie feel of the pull down maps. I am pretty non-traditional when it comes to the way we do school but some things are just better the other way, I think.
If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose?
I would definitely be trapped in Big Bang Theory. Why? They are so SMART!!! and HILARIOUS!!! Oh and I want to hang out with Penny just because she is way cool. Which of the roommates would I chill with most? Probably Leonard because he is the most down to earth one out of the bunch. I would probably end up sitting in Sheldon's spot on the couch just to make him crazy :D
I don't know if we will be settled enough by Christmas to decorate our home. I don't have any idea if we will have found our artificial christmas trees and our decorations by then. All I know is that I want to be getting settled by Christmas if nothing else. Time is passing us by rather quickly and it's nearly winter already. Moving in snow is not my idea of fun. I don't even know where we will be for Thanksgiving let alone Christmas ... Just keep praying that this whole thing is done and done well by then. Thanks.
We have a lot of things going on and it yet it seems like we are standing still. I am still getting over being sick. I have a hanging cough and sinus thingy going on. My hubs is getting recuperated after a week of helping out a relative in a building he needs cleaned up. The Kid is nearly done with his coughing fits and soon we should be back on our feet again. We are looking forward to what is next with our new home and roles in our new church. It won't be easy, but I know that in the end all this uproar and unsettling is worth it.
There is something to be said for this bad economy. Even with all the problems, you don't see any of the top franchises going belly up. For instance, McDs is still open all over the United States. They are always full of patrons ready to give up their hard earned cash for a value menu item. As someone said before, the cheap aspect of buying food already made as opposed to buying in bulk at high costs seems better in the short run. In the long run, your money is better spent on items that you can make at home and keep your family healthier than having them ingest fast foods all the time. It's a tough one to work out. I mean, buy a pound of meat for 5 bucks, a bag of rolls for 2 dollars, cheese for 5 dollars a pound, condiments for the same is at least 7 dollars... OR get 5 sandwiches already done for you for about 6 dollars total. You can't blame people for going with the short term fix.
This apartment deal is taking a longer time than we thought. I am ready to help in any way I can, even if it means hiring a home designer. I have heard of being able to get a free home designer consultation, so at least we could get some ideas as to what we can do other than what is being done now. I am so ready to be in my own apartment !!
The hubs and I have been really thinking over the near necessity of getting a motorhome. Thankfully, my father has two and said we can have one if we would like, so that is awesome. The next thing on the list would be motorhome insurance so we can drive it around places and not have to worry about hotels. I think it's great that we can be self sustaining in this way. It will save a lot of time and money to bring our own lodging when we go places to minister. Not only would it be better for us, but better for the people asking us to come out to their event as they will only have to find us a safe place to park instead of finding us a place to stay. Good stuff :D
