WARNING THIS HAS UNEDITED LANGUAGE!!!!

I am glad that African Americans have people like Mos Def who can speak the mind of the masses. He might not sound extra intelligent at first, but he knows of what he speaks. You can't always judge a mind by the vernacular that comes from the mouth. I am also glad they brought up the Jena 6.

Thanks for posting ... we watch Bill Maher, but evidently missed this one. I hadn't heard about the Jena 6 and glad you helped to get the story out. I haven't given up the dream when all Americans will live in equality and where love and respect conquer all. Hope it's not only a dream ...

Exactly! Diversity is what is so beautiful, why can't so many people see that? "They" prefer to stick with their mirror-image, think alike, do alike, etc., not open to any differences ... differences are what makes life interesting and worthwhile. And all people should be respected for who they are and realize, as well, that we are all different! Sorry, didn't mean to get up on a soap box!

LOL this stuff is meant to get you on your soapbox, to get you going. tell the world what you think and feel about it. i mean, if we dont who will? I agree with you. Diversity is beautiful. the least we can do is just treat each other equally regardless of our differences.
