Dr. Phil and Homeschool don't mix

I heard him the first time he decided to spout his views about homeschooling only until 8th grade or your child would end up with all kinds of social ineptitude.

I was reading this blog on families.com about his re-visitation of the subject of unschool and homeschool.

I am sick and tired of people who have no *real* clue yapping about things that don't have anything to do with the way they run their lives. It is just insane to me that they are so ready to put the smack down on non-traditional schooling instead of showing the bright side. You know the side I am talking about... The children who grow up to become entrepreneurs and millionaires, the ones who go to college when they are 15 and 16 and end up graduating early getting top honors in their classes, the kids who go on to become wonders in their professions. How about he get those people on his show? It will NEVER happen. All Dr. Phil wants to do is show the most extreme viewpoint so we can all see how right and rational his side of the fence really is.

Note to Dr. Phil: You aren't God. Get over yourself.
